Converters – to modify and adjust electric power
Electronic power modules provide the transformation of electric energy in relation to the required form of current, its pitch of voltage and the frequence. Components in this field are called converters. They service various appliencies for providing either AC or DC current or acting as intermediate for other appliances in view of requested alternative forms of currents.
Converters transforming AC current into DC current are called rectifiers. Usual converters modify DC forms of currents into AC current. Certain modules can also change the actual frequence within the requested form of current. These types of modules are then called frequency converters.
Especially in the field of driving automation the various possibilities of adjusting electrical current to all kinds of applications, converters are able to be used in a very flexible way. In view of generating and transferring electric power these types of modules are frequently in use.

Repairs of Converters
In the field of driving automation Eichler is the specialist in a large variety of repair and maintenance for converters. Apart from a number of various service we also are able to service preventative maintenance, the recharging of capacitors and complex repairs of internal power supplies and interfaces. Various manufacturers such as Siemens, SEW, Lenze, Danfoss, Bosch, ABB - amongst many others - can be serviced at our works down to the individual component.

Sale on a large variety of new and refurbished converters
Converters are found amongst the systems with the heaviest work load. Sudden breakdowns can quickly lead to a complete standstill in production. Due to our contacts world-wide we are even able to provide you with converters discontinued long ago. Every component we quote is refurbished completely at our Electronic-Service-Centre according to standardized proceedures and finally tested under full capacity with the help of specially designed test racks. Each item purchased, be it new or refurbished, is fitted out with a 24 months minimum warranty.
We stock more than 30.000 components
To be able to offer you a large variety of current and discontinued devices EICHLER manages an own stock level of over 30.000 components. This enables us to service you with the necessary module as very short notice – even in case of a breakdown in your system.

Every module you purchase at EICHLER is fully tested on all relevant functions before it leaves our works. The combination of highly experienced staff together with our specific Trial- and Testracks give you the necessary safety on the purchase of refurbished automation equipment.
Warranty included
Full trial runs give you the guarantee of the highest possible level on repair service and function of the part sent to us. The item returned to is fitted with a 24 months warranty. If you wish to have an optional test of all parameters we are able to extend this warranty up to 30 months.
